In this role, you will build and maintain the user interface using React.js and TypeScript. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers, business analysts, the backend team, and manage outsourced development projects to deliver user-friendly and efficient solutions. Our codebase is established and complex, so the ability to navigate and understand existing code is essential.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Translate UI/UX designs into functional and responsive frontend code.
2. Develop and maintain user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
3. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, business analysts, and the backend team to implement or adjust features.
4. Assist in coordinating and managing outsourced development projects, such as our mobile app.
5. Ensure the technical feasibility of designs and optimize applications for performance and scalability.
6. Identify, fix, and resolve frontend bugs and performance issues.
7. Refactor existing code to improve readability, maintainability, and performance.
8. Participate in code reviews and adhere to the team’s coding standards.
9. Manage tasks independently in a small, hybrid (remote and onsite) team environment.
10. Continuously learn and apply new frontend technologies and best practices.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in React and TypeScript.
3. Ability to convert UI/UX designs into clean, maintainable code.
4. Understanding of user-friendly design principles and best practices.
5. Understanding of responsive and adaptive design techniques.
6. Familiarity with Git version control system.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex, legacy codebases.
8. Good communication skills.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Experience with UI libraries such as Material UI and state management tools like Redux.
2. Knowledge of end-to-end testing frameworks and methodologies.
3. Experience in mobile app development using frameworks like Flutter.
4. Experience working with health data.
5. Passion and experience in the healthcare industry.
6. Experience in well-known tech companies.
