Out of COM:SCOPE user-generated fantasy flag created for self-declared self-promotion ("Since there is no official "straight/heterosexual" flag, I thought I'd create one and hope it becomes official or adopted."); violation of COM:NOTHOST, COM:SELFIE, COM:EV. A realistic educational purpose is a policy requirement for all Commons files. All files with no such purpose must be deleted: "Wikimedia Commons is not your personal free web host".

If many variations on LGBTQIA+ flags can be allowed on commons, then why not variations on heterosexual flags? Why were these particular images selected from those in Category:Heterosexuality flags? Frankly, the fact that you did not nominate for deletion File:Heterosexual flag (black-white stripes).svg / File:Vlajka heterosexuálů.png -- a flag for straight people devised by gay people -- but did nominate for deletion a flag for straight people actually designed by straight people, seems rather peculiar to me. Or is this a "revenge" deletion nomination after you couldn't get my UK Nordic SVG deleted? (If so, you're becoming more like Kephir than ever..) In any case, please take a look at gallery Sexual identity symbols, and then explain why heteros should have less rights on Commons than other orientations... No policy-based objections to these files' deletion then? No attempt to claim these avowedly out-of-scope self-promotional images have some kind of useful purpose? GPinkerton (talk) 07:36, 6 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It's sure the heck not "self-promotional" on my part, since I really don't care if anybody ever uses it, and I don't care if anybody acknowledges me if they do use it (that's why I declared it Public Domain). When I uploaded the SVG over 10 years ago, I thought I was being a good guy by converting a PNG into an SVG, and improving the heart shape in the process. Furthermore, the subject matter "symbols of heterosexuality" is most definitely NOT out of scope on Commons!!! I really wish you could acknowledge and deal with the fact that in some particular cases, your generic standard cut-and-paste boilerplate doesn't fully apply, due to particular circumstances involved. File:Heterosexual-flag-idea.svg is simply not the same as the flag of a one-person micronation, and whether it's kept or deleted, it should not be handled in the same way as the flag of a one-person micronation. Furthermore, I find some other aspects of your deletion nomination problematic. If you were looking at my upload list for files of mine to get deleted, then that's a "revenge" deletion nomination. Even if that's not exactly the case, I wonder if you have certain "drama queen" tendencies if, after the lengthy and exhausting debate we had over the UK Nordic flag SVG, you were somehow eager to engage in another acrimonious debate with me. Furthermore, I still wonder why you did not nominate for deletion a flag for straight people devised by gay people -- File:Heterosexual flag (black-white stripes).svg / File:Vlajka heterosexuálů.png -- but did nominate for deletion a flag for straight people actually designed by straight people. If you think that heterosexual people should have fewer rights of self-expression and creativity on Commons than LGBTQIA+ people, then please say so explicitly and defend your position. How does that affect the obvious fact that the image was made for self-promotion and has no real world existence before it's addition to Commons? GPinkerton (talk) 06:34, 7 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. I just found out that User:Gpinkerton has been permanently banned from English Wikipedia: en:Wikipedia:Wikipedia_Signpost/2021-11-29/Arbitration_report -- AnonMoos (talk) 17:26, 30 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: The fact these were created by a troublesome, banned user and one is called an "idea" makes these unlikely "official" flags for heterosexuals. This appears self-promotional and popped into articles on a whim posing as official. Deleting as personal, promotional images. Thanks everyone for participating and if you disagree with this decision please take it to Commons:Undeletion requests - unless there is a tech issue. Thanks for assuming good faith and happy holidays!. --Missvain (talk) 14:35, 15 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
